editing and still photography (film)

This week we edited the footage we took last week about why we picked the creative and media diploma. My group worked quite well while using the software Adobe Premiere Pro.
A piece of software that lets you add music and create feature length films with lots of different angles in. This means that you can create films of someone about to sit down and then, with a continuous motion, be looking at the scene from a different angle but the person is still in the middle of sitting down. I think I worked well but did struggle to share the mouse with the group. Overall I think are group did a good job of the editing.
In the afternoon we did some still camera work using film cameras for each shot we had to change the shutter speed to make the picture look good and not look too dark (under exposed) or too light over exposed. This took a lot of time so it was very lucky that my friend had the exposure right when some planes flew overhead. I think I did a good job with the camera because I usually managed to get the exposure right and got some good leading lines in my shots.

(This is not one of my shots but is a good example of leading lines.)

However I did struggle with framing as only a couple of my pictures were framed like this one I found on the web.
